Global People Partner Lead (Senior Manager), G&A

ABOUT THE ROLE Fastly is a leading edge cloud platform that enables customers to create great digital experiences quickly, securely, and reliably. As a Global People Partner Lead (Senior Manager) in the General & Administrative (G&A) function, you will serve as a trusted advisor and consultant to senior business leaders in G&A functions. This role requires a strategic partner who can develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives, foster a positive and inclusive work environment, and drive organizational success. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Global People Partner Lead (Senior Manager), you will be responsible for: - Providing strategic advice and partnership to senior business leaders in G&A functions, and their respective leadership teams, on complex organizational issues - Aligning people strategies with long-term business objectives to drive sustainable growth and employee engagement - Leading large-scale organizational design initiatives to ensure the company remains agile and efficient - Driving the "People" side of change management for major pivots, mergers, or shifts in business strategy - Developing global workforce plans that account for future skills gaps and geographic expansion - Partnering with Total Rewards to design incentive structures that drive high performance and align with the company’s financial goals - Spearheading executive-level succession planning and coaching senior leaders on building inclusive, high-performing cultures within their respective departments - Utilizing data-driven insights to diagnose organizational health and predict future trends - Partnering with Global People Advisors and other People teams to drive organizational success WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 8-10 years of progressive HR/People experience - A track record of partnering with senior business leaders within a global, fast-paced environment - Prior experience as a People Partner or HR Business Partner in a Technology company, ideally with an internal client portfolio that has included senior executives in G&A functions - Business acumen, including a deep understanding of technology functions, business operations, and how people decisions impact the bottom line - Change management experience, including a proven track record of leading organizations through significant transformations or rapid scaling - Strong communication skills with the ability to challenge executive-level stakeholders effectively and empathetically - Analytical rigor, including proficiency in using data to build business cases and measure success WHY REMOTE Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles, which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home. This role is open to the San Francisco, CA office location, with a requirement to work out of the office 2-3 days a week. The position may also require travel as required by the role or requested by the manager. BENEFITS The estimated salary range for this position is $181,000 to $217,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
