Stripe
Global Partnerships Lead — Greater China, Hong Kong & Singapore
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Stripe is building the next generation of financial infrastructure for businesses worldwide, and the Global Partnerships team is the engine that drives our expansion into new markets. As the Global Partnerships Lead for Greater China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, you will own the strategy and execution of all in‑market relationships that enable Stripe’s payments, financial‑services, and growth ambitions across the region. You will work at the intersection of product, engineering, compliance, and commercial teams to translate local market dynamics into scalable partnership models that deliver commercial value, product adoption, and regulatory alignment. Your influence will shape the way Stripe operates in one of the world’s most complex and fast‑moving financial ecosystems.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will set the regional partnership strategy, prioritise opportunities, and lead negotiations with banks, card networks, local payment providers, and other ecosystem partners. You will manage the full partnership lifecycle from market assessment, through contracting and onboarding, to launch, governance and performance measurement. You will act as Stripe’s senior representative in the region, building executive relationships and aligning partner priorities with Stripe’s product and business goals. You will translate market intelligence into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams, ensuring that partnerships deliver durable commercial and operational outcomes. You will drive cross‑functional decision‑making on regulatory, technical, and commercial dependencies, and establish metrics to monitor partner health and impact.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You bring at least ten years of experience in partnerships, business development, or strategy within payments, fintech, ecommerce, or banking, with a deep understanding of the Greater China, Hong Kong, and Singapore markets. You have a proven track record of leading complex, high‑stakes negotiations with senior executives and delivering tangible commercial results. Your communication skills are executive‑level in English and Mandarin, and you can influence across diverse stakeholders without formal authority. You have experience collaborating closely with product and engineering teams on partnerships that involve technical, operational, and regulatory integration. You are comfortable operating autonomously, balancing multiple high‑priority initiatives, and driving long‑term strategic relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
WHY REMOTE
Stripe’s culture is built on distributed, asynchronous collaboration that empowers teams to work from anywhere while maintaining high impact. Remote work allows you to tap into the best talent across the Greater China region, Hong Kong, and Singapore without geographic constraints, and to schedule your day around the most productive times for you and your partners. The flexibility of a remote role means you can focus on strategic outcomes rather than commuting, while still engaging deeply with cross‑functional teams through digital collaboration tools and regular virtual check‑ins.
BENEFITS
Stripe offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive health, dental, and vision coverage, a generous paid time off policy, a remote work stipend to support your home office, a learning and development budget, and access to wellness programs. You will also receive equity in the company, a performance‑based bonus structure, and opportunities for career growth within a global technology leader.
