ABOUT THE ROLE Orfium is a rapidly expanding fintech platform that connects small and medium‑sized businesses with global capital markets. As the Global IT Manager, you will be the strategic leader responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing management of our worldwide IT infrastructure. You will partner with product, finance, and operations leaders to ensure our technology platform remains secure, scalable, and resilient as we grow into new markets. Your vision will guide the evolution of our cloud architecture, data governance, and cyber‑security posture, while you cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and high performance across a distributed team of engineers, support specialists, and vendors. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Define and execute a global IT strategy that aligns with Orfium’s business objectives and regulatory requirements. - Lead the migration of core services to a multi‑cloud environment, optimizing cost, performance, and compliance. - Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the global IT support desk, ensuring 99.9 % uptime for critical services. - Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring SLAs. - Drive the implementation of robust security controls, incident response plans, and business continuity procedures. - Mentor and develop a high‑performing, cross‑functional IT team, fostering collaboration across time zones and cultures. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 8+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership, with at least 3 years managing global teams in a cloud‑first environment. - Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines. - Proven track record of designing secure, compliant architectures for fintech or regulated industries. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing executives and collaborating with cross‑functional partners. - A proactive mindset that embraces change, drives innovation, and continuously improves processes.
