ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Incident Response Specialist to join our team at Stripe. This individual will be responsible for responding to security incidents, containing and eradicating threats, and conducting forensic analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in threat hunting, intrusion investigation, and indicator of compromise identification. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Incident Response Specialist at Stripe, you will be responsible for responding to security incidents in cloud environments, utilizing EDR solutions and threat intelligence. You will also develop remediation plans, technical reports, and executive presentations. Additionally, you will conduct complex investigations, communicate with clients, executives, and stakeholders, and work collaboratively with the team to resolve security incidents. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to have: - Experience in incident response, including containment, eradication, and forensic analysis - Experience with intrusion investigation, threat hunting, and indicator of compromise identification - Experience with forensic analysis on hosts, networks, logs, and malware - Ability to work in cloud environments and utilize EDR solutions and threat intelligence - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Advanced English language proficiency - Intermediate Spanish language proficiency - Ability to work remotely with occasional travel WHY REMOTE As a remote employee at Stripe, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a collaborative and dynamic team.
