ABOUT THE ROLE Srikara Hospitals is expanding its virtual care network to deliver high‑quality, accessible medical services across the region. As a General Physician in our remote team, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions for patients who prefer or require telehealth solutions. Your clinical expertise will support our mission to provide timely, evidence‑based care while maintaining the same standards of safety and compassion as in‑person care. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals—through secure video platforms and electronic health records. By integrating clinical protocols, infection‑control measures, and patient‑safety guidelines into every virtual encounter, you will help ensure consistent, high‑value care for all patients. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans. You will manage follow‑up visits, monitor patient progress, and adjust therapies as needed. You will coordinate with consultants and other departments to facilitate seamless multidisciplinary care. You will maintain accurate, real‑time documentation in our electronic health record system, ensuring all notes, discharge summaries, and follow‑up instructions are completed promptly. You will participate in virtual clinical meetings, audits, and quality‑improvement initiatives to continuously elevate care standards. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You hold an MD or DO degree with a valid medical license and board‑certified or board‑eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, or a related field. You have at least five years of experience providing outpatient and inpatient care, preferably with exposure to telemedicine platforms. You demonstrate strong clinical decision‑making, diagnostic acumen, and the ability to manage complex medical cases remotely. You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can convey complex medical information clearly to patients and colleagues. You are comfortable working independently, managing your own schedule, and collaborating asynchronously with a geographically dispersed team.
