Freelance Background Artist for YouTube Studio

ABOUT THE ROLE Newscape Studios, Inc is a leading YouTube studio with over 10 million total subscribers, creating engaging content based on popular video games and original animations. As a Freelance Background Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D backgrounds and props for our animation productions. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Freelance Background Artist, your primary responsibilities will include: - Maintaining an organized and efficient workflow to meet daily quotas and production deadlines - Finalizing environments and background props for full use in production - Creating approximately 25 environments per week, depending on skill and experience - Collaborating with our team to adapt to various styles and meet production requirements - Demonstrating strong composition, perspective, color theory, light, and form skills - Meeting deadlines and daily quotas with great time management and attention to detail WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Procreate - Strong understanding of composition, perspective, color theory, light, and form - Ability to adapt to a variety of styles and work as part of a team - Excellent communication and listening skills - Great time management and attention to detail - Strong portfolio that showcases your background art skills WHY REMOTE This is a remote, work-from-home, Independent Contractor position.
