WHAT YOU'LL DO
We're seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our EU Fraud Customer Operations team. This role is a critical part of our efforts to protect Monzo EU and our customers from financial crime. As a Team Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a team of 10-12 Fraud Investigators, providing coaching and feedback on fraud tasks, driving exceptional individual and collective performance, and fostering a positive and supportive team culture.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting quality checks on senior fraud investigators to drive performance and identify coaching opportunities
Handling feedback from L20 Investigators and working alongside EU Senior manager and EU Operations analysts to improve process and guidance
Managing the personal and professional development of a team of senior investigators
Fostering a positive, supportive, and high-performance culture in the team with high levels of engagement
Chairing employee relations cases and making decisions consistent with Monzo's values
Working with Senior Manager on building the EU team from scratch and scaling the team for future growth
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
Fluency in English and Spanish, both in written and verbal communication skills
Strong experience of team leadership across Fraud within the financial services sector
Proven ability to drive excellent performance through others
Strong knowledge and experience in the financial sector, previous experience in carrying out Fraud investigations
Knowledge of the current financial crime landscape in the UK and the EU, and associated fraud risks
