ABOUT THE ROLE BJAK is a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia, founded in 2019 with a mission to provide smarter ways to plan, save, and grow money. We're expanding our services to help people in the region manage their finances more effectively. Our team consists of over 20 nationalities, working from various locations around the world, including remotely. We're looking for talented and driven individuals who share our passion for building next-generation financial products. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're seeking a high-ownership generalist to join our Founder's Office and drive the expansion of our finance super app. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for launching new financial products, markets, licenses, and partnerships. Your tasks will include: - Driving zero-to-one strategic projects for the finance super app - Supporting licensing, market entry, partner acquisition, office setup, hiring, and operating plans - Researching markets, competitors, regulations, partners, and business models - Turning founder-level ideas into structured plans, owners, timelines, and next actions - Working across product, legal, compliance, finance, hiring, operations, and country teams - Building trackers, briefs, memos, operating documents, and execution rhythms - Owning urgent business problems until they are solved WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualities: - Strong generalist with high ownership, strong writing, and sharp business judgment - Ability to learn new industries, regulations, and markets quickly - Comfortable working on licensing, partnerships, operations, market research, and execution - Ability to turn messy inputs into clear plans and follow-through - Fast, resourceful, and calm under pressure - Strong English communication and structured thinking - Experience in startups, consulting, fintech, strategy, operations, investing, or founder-led environments is a strong advantage WHY REMOTE This role is remote, but you must be based in China, as we're hiring specifically for the Chinese market.
