Facility Maintenance Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Peloton. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our warehouse equipment, fixtures, and facilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include: - Constructing and repairing fixtures, structures, and equipment in the facility - Preparing and executing the preventive maintenance schedule for all warehouse equipment and fixtures - Attending to both minor and major upkeep of defective equipment and conducting weekly fogging - Adhering to safety and security regulations and procedures by utilizing security equipment provided - Assisting in special projects such as marketing, banners, installation of accessories, etc. - Ensuring cleanliness of the warehouse floor area - Monitoring the STP Operation - Removing trash during store hours and closing time - Securing equipment, fixtures, spare parts, and tools WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Five (5) CSEC subjects, including English Language and Mathematics - A Diploma or Trade Certificate in one of the following: Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Maintenance, Building Services Maintenance, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Plumbing (an asset) - A valid General Driver's License - Forklift Certification (an asset) - 2-5 years' experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a similar technical role or experience maintaining commercial buildings, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or retail operations WHY REMOTE Please note that this is a non-remote position.
