Enterprise Sales Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an Enterprise Sales Manager to join Adyen's sales team, where you will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by acquiring new Enterprise merchants. As a sales manager, you will be responsible for owning the sales cycle with our largest merchants, from prospecting to closing deals. You will also have the opportunity to work with world-class merchants, technology, and colleagues, and to develop your skills through Adyen's Sales Academy. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Enterprise Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will include: - Owning the sales cycle with our largest merchants, from prospecting to closing deals - Creatively driving innovation for merchants in retail, digital, platforms, and financial services - Becoming an expert in selling Adyen's world-class financial solutions - Partnering with technology leaders and solution providers, and working closely with our Sales Support, Implementation, and Account Management teams - Traveling and networking, with approximately 25% of your time spent on the road WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Proven experience in an enterprise sales role, with a minimum of 6 years of experience selling complex solutions and consistently hitting targets - Strong experience and knowledge of the payments ecosystem, including PSPs, acquiring, or related businesses - A deep understanding and strong network within the Chinese cross-border/outbound merchant ecosystem - Excellent analytical, strategic negotiation, and communication skills - The ability to work in-person with teams locally and globally, across different cultures, roles, and offices - Fluency in English and Mandarin, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and negotiate effectively - A commercially driven, go-getting attitude, with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment WHY REMOTE Unfortunately, this role is not a remote-only position, and you will be required to work from Adyen's Shanghai office.
