As an English Editor you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every manuscript meets the highest standards of clarity, consistency, and grammatical precision before it reaches the scientific community. You will work closely with authors, editors, and production staff to transform complex research into polished, publication‑ready text that reflects the authors’ intent while adhering to MDPI’s editorial guidelines. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will edit scholarly articles for grammar, style, and coherence, applying your deep knowledge of academic English to maintain the author’s voice. You will review manuscripts against MDPI’s house rules, ensuring compliance with formatting, citation, and ethical standards. You will manage tight deadlines, delivering high‑quality edits consistently and efficiently. You will collaborate with editorial and production teams to resolve language issues and integrate revisions. You will also contribute to the development of editorial resources, train colleagues across the organization, and edit corporate communications as needed. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline and possess expert command of the English language. You have prior experience in editing, translating, or publishing scholarly content, with a keen eye for detail and strong time‑management skills. You can work independently and thrive in an international, cross‑functional team environment. You are familiar with MDPI’s editorial style and, ideally, have experience with LaTeX and academic research workflows. You have the right to work in Singapore and are comfortable using digital collaboration tools.
