Embedded Sales Development Representative

ABOUT THE ROLE The Embedded Sales Development Representative role at Workato is a dynamic opportunity for a driven and high-potential individual to break into tech sales and make a significant impact. As a member of our SDR team, you will partner closely with Account Executives to break into new accounts and generate pipeline through outbound prospecting. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Outbound Sales Development Representative, your primary focus will be building pipeline by booking meetings with key decision-makers at target accounts through a mix of cold calling, email, and social selling. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, researching accounts, personalizing outreach to drive engagement, and consistently meeting and exceeding activity and pipeline generation goals. You will also actively participate in team trainings, call reviews, and coaching sessions, and continuously refine your messaging, objection handling, and sales skills. WHAT YOU'LL NEED We are looking for individuals who are hungry, coachable, and excited to build a career in sales, with no prior tech or sales experience required. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and competitive, with a strong desire to win and improve. They will be interested in breaking into tech and building a long-term career in sales, with a strong work ethic and the ability to take initiative and stay self-driven. WHY REMOTE As a hybrid role, you will spend 2 days in-office in Denver, with the flexibility to work from home the remaining days.
