Electrician ETO

ABOUT THE ROLE The Electrician ETO will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the electrical systems aboard MSC Cruises passenger vessels. This role ensures that all electrical equipment operates safely and reliably, supporting both essential operations and passenger comfort during voyages. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will work closely with the ship’s technical team to inspect, repair, and maintain marine electrical systems. Your duties include diagnosing electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations. You will also collaborate with crew members from diverse backgrounds to address challenges quickly and maintain a high standard of safety and service for guests and crew alike. WHAT YOU'LL NEED A valid License III/6 and proven experience as an electrician on passenger vessels in a similar capacity. You must have a strong understanding of marine electrical systems, including troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Intermediate oral and written English communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with an international crew. You should bring a proactive problem‑solving attitude, meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to safety and maritime regulations, and the willingness to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
