ABOUT THE ROLE The Village of Paw Paw Department of Public Services is seeking a motivated and skilled DPS Employee II to join their team. As a key member of the department, this individual will be responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks related to the maintenance and repair of vital community infrastructure. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to, maintenance and repair of streets, parks, sewer lines, water lines, sewer lift stations, and brush and leaf pickup. You will work closely with other department members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of public services to the community. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver's license. Previous experience in a related field, such as maintenance or repair, is highly desirable. You must also be physically able to perform the duties of the job, which may include lifting, bending, and working in a variety of weather conditions. WHY REMOTE Note: This is a non-remote position, requiring regular presence at the Village of Paw Paw Department of Public Services location.
