**Diver Position** **About the Role** Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Diver to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission on Andros Island, Bahamas. This is a unique opportunity to work in a remote location with limited medical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military diving or OSHA commercial air diving, and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. **What You'll Do** As a Diver, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including: - Conducting "No Decompression" dives at a depth of no greater than 100 feet of seawater to recover, inspect, repair, install, and remove devices from USN marine vessels and structures. - Operating and maintaining diving air systems per OSHA Diving Air Standards. - Operating and maintaining diving equipment, forklifts, overhead cranes, tractor trailers, and underwater camera and video equipment. - Performing ordnance/target handling, transporting, and recovery operations. - Operating and maintaining the dive boat and associated support equipment. - Performing other duties as assigned. **What You'll Need** To be successful in this role, you will need: - 4 years of related experience working in military diving or OSHA commercial air diving or a related professional environment. - A high school diploma or GED. - Association of Commercial Diving Educators Certification or equivalent Military Certification. - The ability to obtain Certified NAVFAC forklift and overhead crane operator and Certified Tractor Trailer operator certification within six months of hire date. - The ability to be qualified as an Ordnance Team Member within six months of hiring date. - A valid driver's license and passport. - Familiarity with ship husbandry and transducer replacement is preferred. - Lift bag and underwater rigging training is preferred. - Aqualung first and second stage maintenance, repair and rebuild qualification is preferred. - The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. **Why Remote** This role is located on Andros Island, Bahamas, and requires the ability to reside in a remote work location with limited medical facilities.
