Director, R&D Finance ABOUT THE ROLE As a key member of the Twilio team, the Director, R&D Finance will play a vital role in shaping the company's financial strategy and direction. This position will oversee the financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Research and Development (R&D) initiatives, ensuring that Twilio's innovative solutions are delivered on time and within budget. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and operations, to develop and implement financial strategies that align with Twilio's business objectives - Lead the financial planning and analysis process for R&D initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, maintaining the highest level of financial integrity and transparency - Foster a culture of financial excellence, driving process improvements and best practices throughout the organization WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis - Proven track record of leading financial planning and analysis teams, with a focus on R&D initiatives - Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders - Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, at any time, while still being part of a dynamic and innovative team.
