ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Partnerships team as the Director of Partnerships. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping our partnerships strategy, building relationships with major consumer brands, and driving growth through customer-first partnerships.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the Director of Partnerships, you'll be responsible for defining and leading our partnerships strategy across subscriptions, rewards, and customer propositions. You'll build and grow strategic relationships with major consumer brands, subscription providers, and commercial partners, representing Monzo with credibility and influence at the most senior levels. You'll lead complex commercial negotiations, balancing customer outcomes, commercial performance, and operational excellence. You'll also use data and insight to evaluate partnership performance, identify opportunities for growth, and shape future investment decisions.
You'll partner closely with Product teams to embed partnerships seamlessly into customer journeys, ensuring experiences are simple, transparent, and genuinely valuable. You'll lead and develop a high-performing partnerships team, creating the operating model, governance, and ways of working needed to scale successfully. You'll influence senior stakeholders across Monzo to ensure partnerships support our wider growth ambitions.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you'll need a strong track record of building, scaling, and leading strategic partnerships within consumer, technology, fintech, banking, or similarly complex industries. You'll have significant experience managing senior relationships with major brands, platforms, merchants, or commercial partners. You'll have successfully led complex commercial negotiations from strategy and deal structuring through to execution and long-term partner management. You'll be commercially astute, able to balance customer value, partner value, and business outcomes to create sustainable growth.

BENEFITS
