Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Director, Internal Audit to join our Strategic Finance team at Oscar, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. As a Director, Internal Audit, you will play a critical role in advancing and refining our Internal Audit function, developing and executing the internal audit plan, and working closely with senior management.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Director, Internal Audit, you will be responsible for leading the effort in developing and executing the annual risk-based internal audit plan, including internal audit reports. You will also provide advisory services and insights to business partners on risk and internal controls, collaborate with other corporate risk and control functions, and help develop material for Audit Committee reporting. Additionally, you will present findings and recommendations to management, develop relationships with business partners to understand functions, processes, potential risks, and influence risk mitigation efforts, and develop training programs for IA team members to ensure compliance with IIA standards.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in internal audit or a similar role, preferably in Big4 or public companies. You will also need 4+ years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, insurance, and/or technology, as well as 4+ years of experience in managing teams of internal resources or consultants.
WHY REMOTE
This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in the Hartford, CT area. You will be fully remote, with the possibility of adapting to a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with your metro area in the future.

Your base pay will be within the range of $180,504 - $236,911 per year, with the possibility of annual performance bonuses.
