WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a DevOps Engineer at Cato Networks, you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives across our developer platform, CI/CD ecosystem, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive projects from idea to execution. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining internal developer platforms, self-service tools, and on-demand development environments to improve engineering productivity and developer experience.
- Owning and driving the evolution of our developer environments platform.
- Driving company-wide CI/CD initiatives, building and maintaining deployment pipelines, and promoting software delivery best practices across engineering teams.
- Designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes-based environments, monitoring solutions, automation frameworks, and internal services.
- Improving self-service capabilities, automation, and overall developer experience.
- Collaborating closely with devex, developers, automation, and infrastructure teams across the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or similar roles within SaaS environments.
- Experience with GitOps platforms ArgoCD/Flux.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions is an advantage).
- Programming experience in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and developer workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently lead projects and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
