Deal Desk Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies. The Deal Desk Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring quotes and contracts adhere to company standards, while also helping to increase efficiencies and deal velocity. This position requires a high level of comfort with complex business processes and excellent customer service skills. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Deal Desk Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include managing quote and contract approval workflows for pricing, discounts, and special terms for the sales teams. You will provide guidance to Account Executives on quoting to meet internal guidelines and maximize operational efficiencies. Additionally, you will own Salesforce Case resolution for quoting, pricing, and contracting inquiries, maintain an agreed-upon Service level agreement (SLA) on approvals and deal review times, and perform month-end and quarter-end closing activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of contracts, order forms, and other document review and reporting. You will also participate in training activities for new quote and contracting processes for the sales organization, identify and support process improvement efforts to streamline current procedures, cross-train with other Deal Desk functions to provide global coverage of quote, contracting, and order management functions, and act as a liaison for sellers between multiple groups to help facilitate timely and accurate deal closure. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you should have experience working directly with the sales organization and excellent customer service skills. You should also be comfortable with a high volume of transactions and be able to work with complex business processes. Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Ironclad, Google Workspace, Slack, and Notion is also required.
