Deal Desk Analyst - Boston (Portuguese or Spanish Speaking)

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Deal Desk Analyst at Datadog, you will play a critical role in supporting the Global Sales Team by providing quoting and deal structuring support. This is a growth position that requires a strong understanding of licensing and pricing models, as well as excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales Operations, Billing, Contracts, and Legal, to ensure seamless deal execution. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Deal Desk Analyst, your key responsibilities will include: Developing in-depth knowledge of Datadog's licensing and pricing models to provide deal structuring and quoting support to the global sales teams Acting as a creative problem solver to find solutions that meet customers' needs while adhering to Datadog's selling policies Solving customer satisfaction issues following deal execution Negotiating deals directly with customers as needed Working cross-functionally with various stakeholder groups, including legal, contracts, sales operations, order management, revenue, finance, and product management Functioning as a point of contact and subject matter expert for Sales on deal pricing matters Driving adherence to internal controls, protocols, and business rules Partnering with the team to identify and build AI-powered automations that improve deal desk efficiency and scale operations WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 4 years of overall experience, including related processes such as sales operations, finance, sales strategy, and sales enablement At least 2 years of experience with deal structuring/quoting complex SaaS transactions for a fast-growing multinational company Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience with Salesforce and CPQ is a plus, as is hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar WHY REMOTE Datadog values flexibility and offers a hybrid work environment that allows employees to create a work-life harmony that best fits them.
