🏢
Anthropic
Data Center Supply Planning Lead
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Anthropic is accelerating the development of safe and interpretable AI systems, and our data center infrastructure is the backbone that makes that possible. As a Data Center Supply Planning Lead you will steer the planning and execution of our growing portfolio of data center builds, ensuring that compute capacity, accelerator supply, and site readiness are aligned with our ambitious growth targets. You will partner with engineering, delivery, demand planning, and partner teams to create a unified, data‑driven supply model that informs every stage of the build lifecycle, from acquisition through commissioning.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will develop and maintain an integrated supply forecast that tracks committed and pipeline capacity by site, design, and accelerator tranche. You will lead portfolio reviews that surface critical decisions and downstream impacts, and you will coordinate with technical program management and delivery to keep hall readiness, installation schedules, and chip supply in sync. You will design scenario analyses to evaluate the effects of delivery shifts, chip tranche changes, or target adjustments, and you will build optimization tools that recommend gap‑closing actions. You will also define the process for onboarding new sites into delivery tracking and manage change‑management flows to downstream stakeholders. Finally, you will collaborate with the internal tooling team to build and refine a system‑of‑record for delivery planning.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You have a proven record of leading supply or capacity planning for data centers, power, or similar capital‑intensive infrastructure. You have architected end‑to‑end planning processes and driven continuous improvement cycles. You have redesigned large‑scale delivery or deployment workflows and can quantify the resulting efficiencies. You possess deep knowledge of the full data center buildout lifecycle, from acquisition and design through construction, commissioning, and deployment. You have built planning models or tools that incorporate automation and AI assistance. You are proactive in surfacing cross‑functional risks and opportunities, and you influence outcomes through collaboration rather than authority. Strong candidates also bring experience in capacity planning at a hyperscaler, operations research or optimization, and the ability to define and launch an internal planning system‑of‑record.
WHY REMOTE
At Anthropic we believe that the best talent can be found anywhere, and our distributed culture is built on asynchronous collaboration, flexible schedules, and a focus on results rather than location. Remote work allows you to balance personal commitments while contributing to transformative AI research and infrastructure. Our teams use collaborative tools and regular virtual touchpoints to maintain alignment, and we provide the resources you need to thrive from any location.
BENEFITS
Competitive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
Generous paid time off and a flexible holiday policy
A remote work stipend to support home office setup and connectivity
Annual learning budget for professional development and certifications
Access to Anthropic’s internal knowledge base and mentorship programs
Inclusive, supportive culture that values diverse perspectives and continuous learning
