Custodian

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, club staff, and guests at Fit Fusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Custodian, you will be responsible for: - Performing daily cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the club, including fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas - Maintaining cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club - Stocking and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items - Completing daily checklists of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager - Assisting with service to members and guests when required - Maintaining a friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members, and guests WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work (preferable) - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily tasks and priorities - CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire) - Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds - Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking - Ability to bend, crouch, and reach to perform cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility WHY REMOTE This role is based at Fit Fusion, a fitness club, and does not involve remote work.
