ABOUT THE ROLE The Clinical Courier plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient delivery and collection of medical resources at Doctors Hospital. This position requires a proactive and organized individual who can act as an active member of the Transport Team. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Clinical Courier, you will be responsible for receiving medical items and understanding instructions from healthcare facilities. You will ensure that medical items are securely stored in the delivery vehicle, and that documentation corresponds to each item. You will also map out routes to destinations, considering traffic and mileage, and ensure the punctual collection and delivery of medical items. Additionally, you will verify recipient signatures and designations, ensure the safety of delivered items, and log mileage and maintenance information. You will also accurately count and take inventory of medical items to be collected or delivered. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a minimum of five years of driving experience and a clean driving record. Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred, as well as the ability to drive manual transmission vehicles. You will also need to be flexible with regards to on-call duties, have strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
