**Content Writer** ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a skilled Content Writer to create high-quality, SEO-driven content for our clients across various industries. As a Content Writer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including web pages for eCommerce and lead generation business sites, category pages, product descriptions, and blog posts. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Content Writer, your primary responsibilities will include writing engaging, creative, and ROI-driven content that aligns with client-specific guidelines and SEO best practices. You'll be responsible for conducting research to gain a strong understanding of various industries and creating content that blends technical and creative writing skills. You'll also be expected to provide portfolios featuring published work and complete a brief training course once an offer has been extended. WHAT YOU'LL NEED The ideal candidate for this position is a multifaceted technical and creative writer with at least two to four years of professional, non-academic experience. You should have excellent English writing skills and be able to write content that effortlessly blends SEO best practices and brand priorities. A background in highly specialized fields such as Fashion, Skincare & Beauty, Tech & Software, Finance & Investing, Law, Education, Home Improvement, Automobiles & Motorcycles, Health and Wellness, Medical / Clinical, Digital Marketing, SEO / PR / Advertising / Marketing is strongly encouraged. BENEFITS Writers are paid on a per-word basis, with compensation assessed according to our KPI rubric (key performance indicators). Initial compensation is up to $0.06 per word, with automatic raises after 400 and 800 pages have gone live on our client's websites. The top marginal rate increases to $0.064 per word after 400 pages live and $0.07 per word after 800 pages live.
