ABOUT THE ROLE As a Coffee Roaster at Campos Coffee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our specialty coffee. You will be responsible for roasting coffee beans to the required sensory profile, working closely with other teams to meet deadlines, minimizing waste, and adhering to safety and quality protocols. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Roast coffee beans according to the required sensory profile - Collaborate with other teams to ensure timely delivery of roasts - Minimize waste and optimize roasting processes - Follow safety and quality protocols to maintain high standards - Learn about coffee origins, roast profiles, and taste profiles from our expert coffee team - Participate in regular cupping sessions to develop your coffee knowledge WHAT YOU'LL NEED - A passion for specialty coffee and a willingness to learn and grow - Attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks - Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams - Physical fitness to lift up to 24 kg - Valid Australian working rights with unlimited working rights - Ability to work a standard shift from Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or a floater shift with flexible start and finish times WHY REMOTE As a remote worker, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance.
