Chief of Staff, Online Grocery

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly strategic and operationally skilled Chief of Staff, Online Grocery to partner with the General Manager of Instacart's Online Grocery business. This individual will play a critical role in helping the organization operate at its best, with a focus on improving how the team works, making decisions, and executing on priorities. The ideal candidate will have a strong business and strategic sense, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with leaders across the organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO As Chief of Staff, Online Grocery, you will be responsible for running the operating rhythm for the General Manager and the organization. This includes owning and continuously improving the business rhythm, managing the operating cadence for the GM, and improving how the organization decides. You will also be responsible for shaping and running the substance of leadership team offsites, preparing briefings and coordinating research for the GM's meetings, and partnering with the GM, HR, and finance to manage the organization's headcount budget. Additionally, you will drive the calendar, planning, and content for upward communication and alignment with the C-suite and the board on Online Grocery priorities. You will also support the GM in preparing content for speaking engagements and help the GM spot, diagnose, and get ahead of issues across the organization.
