CDD Risk Analyst, Onboarding

ABOUT THE ROLE Adyen is a leading financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products to customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. As a CDD Risk Analyst, Onboarding, you will be part of our APAC CDD team in Singapore, working closely with Sales, Account Management, Compliance, Risk, Regulatory, and Finance teams to support our regional growth. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a CDD Risk Analyst, Onboarding, you will be responsible for reviewing potential, new, and existing merchants from a risk, regulatory, and compliance perspective. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting due diligence checks via gathering and analyzing information on new merchant applications - Producing risk assessments for new and existing merchants based on provided/gathered information - Investigating and resolving blockers to merchant go-live and payouts related to CDD matters - Providing advice and assistance to internal stakeholders on CDD matters related to new and existing merchants - Ensuring compliance with evolving CDD/EDD regulations and internal policies - Setting up processes, monitoring, and executing checks related to merchant onboarding - Evaluating existing procedures to refine and optimize the end-to-end merchant onboarding process WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 2-3 years of prior experience in a risk or compliance-related domain - A detail-oriented approach and a firm understanding of risk mitigation and Internal Controls related to CDD, EDD, and AML/CFT - Comfort navigating an operational work environment involving stakeholder management and taking ownership of merchant onboarding till completion - Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across operations, commercial, product, and compliance teams - A strong interest in operational processes and a proactive, structured approach to managing multiple work streams WHY REMOTE This role is based in Singapore, and as a collaborative and in-person-focused company, we value face-to-face interaction and teamwork.
