Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE The Candidate Experience Lead is a hands-on leadership role at Lyft, responsible for setting the standard for scheduling excellence, coaching the team, and partnering across Talent Acquisition to remove friction from the candidate journey. This role is roughly half people management and coaching, half active contribution to scheduling and team projects. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Candidate Experience Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and holding the team accountable to scheduling SLAs, building an environment where those standards are sustainable, and not just enforced. You will also identify process gaps, use data to back your decisions, and drive process improvements. Additionally, you will coach and develop individual contributors, provide specific and actionable feedback, and help the team build comfort with new tools and ways of working. You will proactively seek feedback, identify areas for improvement, and drive changes to fix issues. You will also contribute to workstreams that sit beyond your immediate team, supporting TA OKRs and process improvement initiatives. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need 4-6 years of experience in recruitment coordination or talent acquisition operations, with some experience leading or mentoring others. You will also need a strong working knowledge of scheduling systems and coordination tooling, with genuine attention to data integrity. You should be comfortable using metrics to identify problems and evaluate solutions, and have a track record of giving feedback that lands well. WHY REMOTE This role is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere while still being part of a collaborative and inclusive team. Lyft values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture, but this role will be hybrid, with the expectation of working in the office at least 3 days per week. BENEFITS Lyft offers a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage options, life insurance, disability benefits, mental health benefits, family building benefits, child care and pet benefits, access to a Lyft funded Health Care Savings Account, RRSP plan with company match, and flexible paid time off policy. Lyft also offers 18 weeks of paid time off for new parents, designed as a top-up plan to complement provincial programs.
