Business Operations and Growth Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations and Growth Lead to join our Australia and New Zealand team at Airbnb. As a key member of our Global Markets Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and expansion efforts in the region. With a focus on business strategy, quality supply, and international expansion, you will contribute to Airbnb's continued growth and success in its next chapter. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Business Operations and Growth Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional leaders and teams to scale our community growth and optimization-focused programs. Your key responsibilities will include: - Aligning all functions to achieve Australia and New Zealand's business objectives in partnership with the Country Manager. - Driving regular business operation meetings and initiating meaningful conversations with cross-functional project teams to ensure key initiatives are on track in the country. - Analyzing macro and micro trends using available data sources and tools, and presenting analysis, insights, and actionable plans to Airbnb country and regional leadership team to drive key business decisions. - Owning the day-to-day business analysis, anticipating changes, and aligning adjustments to maximize growth and minimize risk. - Conceiving, executing, and measuring cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, spanning across the demand, supply, and regulatory surfaces of the business. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - A minimum of 10+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to business growth, business analytics, and project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. - A proven bias to action and ability to own a project from conception through to post-mortem. - Ability to work in a world of uncertainty and ambiguity, creating clarity from abstraction. - Familiarity with AI tools is considered an asset. - World-class written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present at all levels of an organization in a succinct, clear, and eloquent manner. - A proven track record of storytelling, influencing, and rallying diverse cross-functional stakeholders against a common mission or goal using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
