ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firefighter/EMT (FF/EMT) to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical services and firefighting expertise to our community. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care and transportation to patients, and operating firefighting equipment. Your duties will include: - Responding to emergency calls and assessing situations to determine the best course of action - Providing medical care and transportation to patients using ambulance equipment - Operating firefighting equipment, including hoses, ladders, and other gear - Participating in regular training exercises to maintain and improve your skills - Collaborating with other emergency responders to ensure effective and efficient responses to emergencies WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - Current certification as a Firefighter/EMT - Valid driver's license - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies - Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being able to respond to emergency calls and provide critical services to our community.
