ABOUT THE ROLE As a Bell Person at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, you will be a key part of our team, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our visitors have a memorable experience. You will be responsible for delivering guests to their rooms, luggage, messages, and other items, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to Fairmont standards. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Bell Person, your responsibilities will include: - Providing professional, engaging, and proactive guest service while supporting your colleagues - Delivering guests to their rooms, luggage, messages, and other items in a timely and efficient manner - Maintaining a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance and adhering to Fairmont standards - Escorting guests to their room and conducting an overview of the room to ensure they are familiar with their surroundings - Maintaining a presence in the lobby when not delivering luggage to guest rooms, offering assistance to guests under the direction of the Bell Captain - Assisting guests with hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way - Ensuring the timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from the guest's room - Maintaining knowledge of the hotel's emergency procedures - Expediting guest room changes as required - Following department policies, procedures, and service standards, including all safety policies - Participating in hotel committees - Adhering to all Health & Safety training, guidelines, and work practices established by Accor, local government, international bodies, and the World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful as a Bell Person, you will need: - Previous experience in a role requiring a high level of guest service and interaction - Professional verbal communication skills - Energetic and excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Good physical condition, as frequent and repetitive lifting is required - Impeccable appearance with superior attention to detail - Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment - Ability to work cohesively as part of a team in a multi-cultural, diverse environment - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-based environment - Proven ability to focus attention on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times - Strong work ethic, highly responsible, reliable, and the ability to work extended hours, including overnight, public holidays, and weekends WHY REMOTE As a remote employee of the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club, you will have the opportunity to work in a unique and dynamic environment, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring that our visitors have a memorable experience.
