ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring an Associate, Regulatory Operations to join our Compliance team at Oscar. As a remote position, this role is open to candidates who reside in various states across the US. You will work with internal teams and external regulators to ensure Oscar's compliance with federal and state product filing requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Associate, Regulatory Operations, you will be responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure Oscar's compliance with federal and state product filing requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing required annual QHP filings with state regulators, state exchanges, and CMS, including the development of action plans that ensure regulatory approval
- Developing and maintaining successful relationships with regulatory agencies, including state insurance regulators and CMS
- Serving as a subject matter expert to advise teammates and teams on the accurate completion of filing deliverables
- Developing sustainable processes to simplify outputs while ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Managing other projects in support of filings while achieving deadlines and managing competing priorities
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or 4 years of commensurate experience
- 4+ years of healthcare industry experience, ideally in the health plan/managed care space
- 2+ years of experience with SERFF, HIOS, and/or MPMS
- Demonstrated project management skills
WHY REMOTE
This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in various states across the US. You will be fully remote, with the possibility of adapting to a hybrid presence at a hub office associated with your metro area in the future.
