Associate, Member and Provider Optimization
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization to join our Member and Provider Services Optimization team at Oscar, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. As an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization, you will play a critical role in working cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders to represent the needs and interests of the department in company-wide strategic initiatives and in solving business problems related to internal processes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, managing cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration, edge case mitigation, and on-time completion
- Evaluating overall departmental performance by creating, gathering, analyzing data and assisting in development of departmental metrics and implementation of mitigation strategies
- Collaborating with all relevant partner groups to create proactive implementation, communications, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation programs
- Mentoring team members and promoting colleagues' growth
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or 3+ years of commensurate experience
- 3+ years of work experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering or consulting
- 2+ years of experience using data software such as Excel, SQL, Python or other data analytics tools
- 2+ years of experience with end-to-end project management
- 2+ years of experience designing and improving workflows and standing up accompanying operating and technical procedures
- 2+ years of experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Theory of constraints
- Bonus points for a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher
WHY REMOTE
This is a remote position, open to candidates who reside in the United States, with the possibility of future hybrid models involving a presence at the hub office associated with your metro area.

- Base pay: $87,188.40 - $114,434.78 per year
