ABOUT THE ROLE We're Oscar, a health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We're hiring an Associate Director, Insurance Product Insights & Intelligence to join our Insurance Product Development team. This role will lead the development of relevant market, competitor, and consumer intelligence to support Oscar's insurance product organization. WHAT YOU'LL DO As the Associate Director, Insurance Product Insights & Intelligence, you will lead the development of market intelligence programs, competitive analysis, consumer insights, and strategic reporting efforts. You will serve as a strategic advisor across product, market leadership, actuarial, network, growth, and finance teams, translating complex market dynamics into actionable recommendations that drive product strategy, portfolio optimization, retention, growth, and market expansion decisions. You will also oversee cross-functional reporting, market intelligence deliverables, dashboards, and strategic presentations, and partner with product, actuarial, network, sales, growth, and finance teams to support market-level programs. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, public health, economics, marketing, or a related field, and 7+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, competitive intelligence, market research, consulting, insurance product, or a related function. You will also need 4+ years of people leadership or direct team management experience, experience with ACA, individual and family plans, small group markets, and healthcare competitive dynamics, and the ability to draw relevant insights from ambiguous data programs and translate findings into executive-level recommendations. WHY REMOTE This is a remote work-from-home role, and you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. Note that this list of states is subject to change. BENEFITS You will be eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses. The base pay for this role is $180,504 - $236,911 per year in New Jersey, New York, and California, and $162,453 - $213,220 per year in all other locations. You will also be eligible for a bonus based on performance.
