ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring an Associate Director, Insurance Product Employer Subsidized & Emerging Solutions to join our Insurance Product Development team at Oscar. The Associate Director, Insurance Product, Employer Subsidized and Emerging Solutions will play a critical role in supporting the strategy development and scaling of employer subsidized (ICHRA) and adjacent growth-oriented health insurance solutions across Oscar's broader product portfolio. This role will be responsible for translating enterprise, subsidiary, and market level strategies into actionable product concepts, ensuring alignment with core ACA offerings, while driving end-to-end product lifecycle execution through launch and performance optimization. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for: - Translating enterprise and market-level strategies into relevant product programs and measurable outcomes - Developing and evolving the employer-subsidized product strategy, including target segments, value proposition, and market expansion roadmap in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders - Identifying and assessing new growth opportunities across employer-sponsored, individual, and adjacent product spaces - Defining market-specific right to win strategies, competitive positioning, and expansion priorities - Partnering with peers to translate strategies into scalable, fileable product designs - Ensuring ICHRA and new solutions align with product architecture, benefit design standards, and member value propositions - Supporting development of competitive product offerings, informed by market insights, pricing considerations, and member insights - Serving as primary connector across key stakeholders to drive alignment with competing priorities, ensuring timely decision making and execution orientation - Establishing measurements, including growth, retention, margin, and market competitiveness with corporate finance - Supporting business case development and oversight of vendor and partner relationships related to new solutions WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's degree - 8+ years of experience in healthcare, health insurance, commercial product strategy or commercial insurance product management, directly leading a team of high-functioning contributors - Experience working within the ACA marketplace (serving multiple markets), including individual or small group - Demonstrated experience leading programs - Familiarity with insurance product lifecycle management, including design and execution readiness - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time WHY REMOTE This is a remote work-from-home role, and you must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
