ABOUT THE ROLE Sinica Education is a leading online educational platform providing academic support and guidance to international students in middle/high school and college. As an Academic Specialist All Subjects, you will play a critical role in ensuring the academic success of our students by teaching a range of subjects, including Economics, and providing one-on-one teaching and academic counseling. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Academic Specialist All Subjects, you will be responsible for teaching 2+ subjects up to AP level and some lower level college courses, including Economics, to our international students. Your duties will include: - Developing and delivering engaging online courses and lessons - Providing one-on-one teaching and academic counseling to students - Creating and grading assignments and assessments - Collaborating with other instructors and staff to ensure student success WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's or graduate degree from a top 30 Canadian or US university - A passion for education and a desire to work with international students of different backgrounds, ages, and ability levels - Experience with classroom teaching or tutoring, preferably at the high school or university level - Familiarity with AP level high school curricula and online learning platforms WHY REMOTE As a remote Academic Specialist All Subjects, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance.
