2D Artist

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking a passionate 2D artist to join our Art Team at RubyPlay, a leading innovator in the iGaming industry. As a RubyPlayer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, from game development to UI design. We're looking for someone who is genuinely driven by art, with a strong understanding of design, color, light, volume, perspective, and spatial thinking. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a 2D artist at RubyPlay, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality visuals for our games, including symbols, backgrounds, characters, and UI elements. Your art must be flawlessly readable on any mobile screen, with a clear visual hierarchy and deep atmospheres that set the mood. You'll also be expected to design cool and intuitive in-game UI, creating interface elements that evoke emotion but remain crystal clear and highly functional. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you'll need: - Strong fundamentals in design, color, light, volume, perspective, and spatial thinking - Experience in slots is a must, with a deep understanding of the iGaming genre, technical requirements, and what functional slot art should look like - Independence, with the ability to drive your own tasks, work within given timeframes, and proactively resolve blockers - Excellent English skills for comfortable communication and teamwork WHY REMOTE As a remote-first company, we offer the flexibility to work from anywhere with a setup for deep focus and work-life balance.
