ABOUT THE ROLE Vertu Motors plc is a leading automotive retailer committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and high standards of vehicle quality. We are looking for a Vehicle Progressor to join our team remotely, supporting the end‑to‑end preparation of every vehicle for sale. In this role you will be the linchpin between our acquisition, refurbishment and sales teams, ensuring that each car meets group standards within 72 hours of arrival. Your work will directly influence the quality of our inventory and the satisfaction of our customers, helping Vertu maintain its reputation for excellence across the UK. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Receive and inspect new vehicle consignments, documenting cosmetic and mechanical conditions within 24 hours. - Coordinate all aspects of refurbishment, including wheel refurbishment, paint touch‑ups, trim repairs, and professional valeting, ensuring each task is completed to the highest standard. - Capture high‑resolution photographs of finished vehicles and prepare detailed listings for the sales platform, collaborating with the Sales Manager to craft accurate, compelling descriptions. - Perform final quality checks on completed vehicles, verifying that all refurbishment work meets group specifications before approval for sale. - Manage logistics for vehicle returns to partner dealerships, scheduling pickups and deliveries while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. - Maintain accurate records of refurbishment progress, costs and time‑frames in the company’s digital workflow system, providing regular updates to management. WHAT YOU'LL NEED - A full UK driving licence and a clean driving record, as occasional vehicle collection and delivery may be required. - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. - Excellent attention to detail and a passion for automotive aesthetics and quality. - Proficiency in digital tools – experience with inventory management software, photo editing and basic data entry is essential. - Effective communication skills, capable of working independently and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a remote environment. - A disciplined, motivated attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the automotive industry; prior experience is not required as comprehensive training will be provided.
