As a People Business Partner, you will be a strategic partner to managers across North America, helping them navigate complex people challenges, build high‑performing teams, and make sound decisions that align with our mission of making data as reliable as electricity. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, driving the development of a new Regional HRBP model that will shape how we support leaders and employees as we scale. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will coach managers through performance, feedback, development, conflict, and difficult people decisions, enabling them to become more effective leaders. By asking probing questions and uncovering root causes, you will transform surface‑level performance issues into actionable insights. You will lead complex employee relations and performance work across North America, balancing employee experience, business needs, consistency, and risk while knowing when to involve legal or other People partners. Working closely with Functional HRBPs, you will synthesize manager and employee perspectives with broader functional and leadership contexts to deliver integrated solutions. You will analyze data and emerging patterns to identify systemic issues and recommend scalable interventions. You will also contribute to the design and refinement of the Regional HRBP model, experimenting with technology, automation, and AI to eliminate repetitive work and enhance decision quality. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You bring proven experience as a People or HR Business Partner, with a strong track record of coaching managers and resolving meaningful people and team challenges. You possess an in‑depth understanding of US employment law and best practices, with experience supporting employees across multiple states; broader North American knowledge is a plus. Your analytical mindset allows you to translate data into actionable insights and spot patterns that drive continuous improvement. You excel at stakeholder management, communicating complex ideas clearly to leaders, employees, and cross‑functional partners. You are comfortable working in a fast‑paced, distributed environment, collaborating asynchronously while maintaining high accountability. Your curiosity fuels experimentation with new tools and processes to streamline HR operations and enhance employee experience.
