ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled Supportability Engineer 3 to join our team at Twilio. As a Supportability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our communication solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive improvements, and developing strategies to prevent issues from occurring in the future.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Supportability Engineer 3, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues related to our communication solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer support, to drive improvements and resolve issues
- Developing and implementing strategies to prevent issues from occurring in the future
- Creating and maintaining documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency
- Participating in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical issues
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in a technical support or engineering role
- Strong understanding of software development, testing, and deployment processes
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively
