Harbor
Consultant Implementation Engineer
Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Harbor is a leading provider of legal and accounting technology solutions, and our Enterprise Solutions practice is the engine that drives our clients’ digital transformation. As a Consultant Implementation Engineer, you will be the technical bridge between Harbor’s cutting‑edge products and our enterprise customers, ensuring that each deployment delivers measurable business value. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—including sales, product, and support—to translate complex client requirements into robust, scalable implementations that enhance efficiency and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will assess client needs, design deployment architectures, and lead the installation of Intapp solutions across diverse legal and accounting environments. You will coordinate with stakeholders to configure integrations, set up data migration pipelines, and validate system functionality before go‑live. You will act as the primary escalation point for challenging technical issues, providing rapid, effective resolutions that maintain customer confidence. You will conduct post‑deployment reviews, capture lessons learned, and recommend process improvements to refine Harbor’s implementation methodology. You will mentor junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence. You will also manage production upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations and adherence to change‑management protocols.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience implementing enterprise software solutions in the legal or accounting sectors, with a deep understanding of Intapp or comparable platforms. You possess strong analytical skills, capable of troubleshooting complex integrations and performance bottlenecks. You are proficient in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, and comfortable working with RESTful APIs, database migrations, and configuration management tools. You have a proven track record of leading technical teams, coaching peers, and driving projects to successful completion on time and within budget. Your communication style is clear and concise, enabling you to translate technical concepts for both technical and non‑technical audiences. You thrive in a fast‑paced, distributed environment and are self‑motivated, organized, and adaptable to changing priorities.
WHY REMOTE
Harbor’s remote culture is built on asynchronous collaboration, trust, and flexibility. You will have the freedom to design a work schedule that aligns with your personal productivity rhythms while staying connected to a global team through collaborative tools and regular virtual check‑ins. Our distributed model empowers you to work from any location in the United States or Canada, eliminating commute time and allowing you to focus on delivering high‑impact solutions for our clients. You will have access to a robust virtual onboarding program, ongoing professional development resources, and a supportive community that values work‑life balance and innovation.
