Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE Monzo is redefining the way people interact with money, and our Finance & Anaplan Centre of Excellence is at the heart of that transformation. As an Anaplan Support Analyst you will be a key contributor to the success of our Anaplan platform, working closely with the Lead Solutions Architect, Model Builders and the FP&A team. Your work will enable the finance organisation to plan, forecast and analyse with confidence, while ensuring that the Anaplan models remain accurate, efficient and user‑friendly. You will be the bridge between technical model development and the day‑to‑day needs of business users, driving continuous improvement across our financial planning ecosystem. WHAT YOU'LL DO You will manage the full lifecycle of change requests, triaging, designing, testing and deploying enhancements to Anaplan workspaces in a fast‑moving environment. You will collaborate with architects and model builders to build and refine new functionalities, ensuring that model logic aligns with business requirements and best practices. You will design and deliver training sessions and create clear documentation to empower finance and business partner teams to use Anaplan effectively. You will monitor model performance, maintain data integrity, manage user access and troubleshoot issues, acting as the first line of support for end users. Finally, you will contribute to the continuous optimisation of our Anaplan architecture, recommending and implementing improvements that increase scalability and performance. WHAT YOU'LL NEED You have hands‑on experience supporting and maintaining Anaplan workspaces, with a strong understanding of model architecture and formula building. A Level 2 Model Builder certification or equivalent is highly desirable. You have a proven track record of managing change requests and user support tickets in a Centre of Excellence or similar environment. You possess strong communication and facilitation skills, with a passion for training non‑technical users. You understand financial modelling and FP&A principles, and you can translate business requirements into robust Anaplan solutions. You are comfortable working with AI tools, able to craft effective prompts and explore how AI can streamline processes. Experience in banking or financial services is a plus but not required; we welcome talent from diverse industries who can bring fresh perspectives. WHY REMOTE Monzo embraces a distributed, asynchronous culture that values results over hours. Remote employees enjoy flexible schedules, trusting that they will deliver high‑quality work while balancing personal commitments. We encourage collaboration through regular virtual stand‑ups, cross‑functional workshops and a shared knowledge base. Occasional visits to our London office are welcomed to foster team cohesion, but the majority of your day will be spent working from wherever you feel most productive. This model supports a healthy work‑life balance and allows you to join a dynamic, purpose‑driven team without the constraints of a traditional office. BENEFITS Competitive salary of £42,500‑£50,000 plus incentive awards tied to performance. Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental and vision plans. Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave and personal days. A remote working stipend to support your home office setup, and a MacBook provided for all employees. An annual learning budget of £1,000 for books, courses and conferences. Access to a robust benefits portal covering life insurance, pension contributions and wellness programmes. Monzo is committed to supporting your professional growth and well‑being, ensuring you have the resources to thrive in a remote, high‑impact role.
