Sr Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis -Professional Services and Partner Support

ABOUT THE ROLE The Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis - Professional Services and Partner Support role is a high-profile global position within Elastic's finance team. As a key member of the FP&A function, this individual will drive financial planning and analysis activities in a fast-growing, dynamic, distributed software company. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and forecasting professional services and sales partner organizations. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and forecasting the professional services and sales partner organizations' budgets and expenses - Collaborating with sales, services, sales operations, and finance teams to create and manage short- and long-term KPIs, forecasts, and business models - Planning and forecasting resources and non-compensation expenses for professional services and sales partner organizations - Sizing and forecasting partner programs, such as rebate programs, and capacity planning for professional services teams - Modeling and forecasting professional services revenue - Managing the business from a complete P&L perspective, creating processes that ensure forecast accuracy - Contributing to the monthly close process, including reviewing accruals, reconciling actuals vs forecast for revenue, spend, and headcount, and presenting findings to senior leadership WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need: - 5 to 7+ years of similar FP&A experience with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus - Experience supporting professional services and sales partner organizations - Meticulous attention-to-detail combined with an inquisitive and analytical mindset - Understanding of models and concepts, such as partner rebate programs, professional services capacity planning, and commission structures - Ability to translate sophisticated data into practical insights - Strong eye for business and critical thinking with a focus on driving financial performance and optimizing resources - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Experience using software tools such as Tableau, Salesforce, NetSuite, Pigment, BigQuery, and other business intelligence platforms - Strong work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment WHY REMOTE Elastic offers a remote work environment, allowing you to work from anywhere and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
