Software Engineer, New Grad, Developer & End User Experience Platform

ABOUT THE ROLE Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses, and we're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Developer & End User Experience Platform (DEeP) team. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Software Engineer on our DEeP team, you'll work on cross-functional projects, collaborating with other engineers to deliver high-quality products. You'll be responsible for ensuring the systems your team operates continue running well and can scale to meet the needs of our users. You'll also build the skills to own a project from beginning to end, learning project management and technical leadership skills. Responsibilities include: - Working on cross-functional projects with other engineers - Providing meaningful feedback on code reviews and technical designs - Ensuring the systems your team operates continue running well and can scale to meet user needs - Building skills to own a project from beginning to end, including project management and technical leadership WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be considered for this role, you should meet the minimum requirements: - Be available to start full-time before October 1, 2026 - Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a directly related field, obtained by summer 2026, or equivalent work experience - Have no more than 18 months of professional experience (excluding internship experience) - Have some experience and familiarity with programming, either through side projects or classwork - Have experience from previous internships or collaborative work on multi-person coding projects - Be able to learn unfamiliar systems and form an understanding of those systems Preferred qualifications include: - One or more areas of specialized knowledge balanced with general skills and knowledge - Experience in code review practices and safely updating production systems - Familiarity with navigating and managing work in large codebases WHY REMOTE As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere and contribute to our mission to increase the GDP of the internet.
