ABOUT THE ROLE As a Social Media Manager at Aion, you will be responsible for leading the company's social media presence, thought leadership, and content strategy across various platforms. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with company leadership and contribute to the growth of Aion's brand and influence. You will be expected to identify important developments in AI, enterprise technology, startups, and venture capital, and turn those insights into compelling content that resonates with our audience. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Social Media Manager, your key responsibilities will include: - Owning and managing Aion's social media presence across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels - Developing and maintaining the company content calendar - Monitoring AI news, research, product launches, funding announcements, and industry trends - Identifying opportunities for Aion and leadership to participate in relevant conversations - Drafting posts, threads, commentary, and thought leadership content for executives and company accounts - Collaborating with the design team to create social graphics, carousels, videos, and visual content - Supporting conference, event, and speaking engagement promotion - Tracking performance metrics and continuously optimizing content strategy - Building systems and workflows that enable Aion to respond quickly to important developments in the AI ecosystem WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you will need: - A scrappy, builder-oriented mindset with a willingness to experiment, move quickly, and challenge traditional marketing playbooks - A strong understanding of AI, venture capital, startups, technology, and enterprise software - The ability to quickly understand company positioning, competitive dynamics, and industry narratives - Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, monitoring, research, and workflow automation - Excellent writing and storytelling skills - Strong instincts for what makes content relevant, engaging, and shareable - Experience managing LinkedIn, X, and executive social media accounts - The ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling content - High organizational skills and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment WHY REMOTE As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a better work-life balance.
