ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Program Manager, Disaster Recovery at Twilio, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of communications by ensuring the resilience and reliability of our systems. You will lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery plans that minimize downtime and ensure business continuity. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency strategies, and drive process improvements. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements - Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to design and implement disaster recovery solutions - Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential threats and develop mitigation strategies - Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, product teams, and external partners - Analyze and report on disaster recovery metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for process enhancements - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to inform disaster recovery strategies and best practices WHAT YOU'LL NEED - 8+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on disaster recovery, business continuity, or a related field - Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to achieve business objectives - Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies, including AWS and Azure - Experience with disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution - Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box WHY REMOTE As a remote employee at Twilio, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere and enjoy a work-life balance that suits your needs.
