Senior Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE Vercel is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our Product Design team. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work across the product to design thoughtful, system-based solutions for challenging customer problems and help the team build remarkable software interfaces. Our Design Team is a group of passionate designers who work to solve unique, complex, and nuanced challenges that are characteristic of the web. WHAT YOU'LL DO In this role, you will be responsible for shipping the best design work of your career, collaborating on the strategic product direction related to financial infrastructure, owning the design process from gathering requirements to guiding implementation with Engineering, and advocating for Vercel's approach to designing financial infrastructure across the product. Additionally, you will help nurture a design culture within the company. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need at least 4 years of experience designing interactive apps, preferably in complex technical industries. You should have excellent visual, UI, and interaction skills, as well as the ability to differentiate when to use the design system, when to break it, and when to evolve it. You should be comfortable delivering the right artifacts at the right time with modern design tooling and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. WHY REMOTE While this role is listed as remote, it includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday for those based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin). The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $156,000 - $234,000, with actual salary based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Total compensation may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program.
