Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Age-Appropriate Design

We're seeking a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst to join our user well-being team and contribute to building beneficial AI systems. WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, you will design and architect automated enforcement systems and review workflows that scale effectively while maintaining high accuracy. You will partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to optimize detection models for policy violations and automated enforcement systems. Additionally, you will review flagged content to drive enforcement and policy improvements, enforce usage policies with a focus on detecting and mitigating potential harmful use of AI systems, and work with Legal, Public Policy, and Privacy stakeholders to keep our age assurance approach proportionate, privacy-preserving, and responsive to an evolving regulatory landscape. WHAT YOU'LL NEED To be successful in this role, you will need experience in trust and safety, online child safety, age assurance, privacy, product policy, or a related field. You should have subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: age assurance or age verification systems, age-appropriate design, child online safety, privacy-preserving verification methods, or content classification for young people. You will also need experience driving cross-functional initiatives with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Policy partners, as well as navigating evolving regulatory landscapes and enforcement best practices. BENEFITS Anthropic offers a competitive annual salary range of $245,000 - $285,000 USD. Additionally, we require a minimum education of a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience, and a relevant field of study.
