Operations Technology Product Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE We're seeking an Operations Technology Product Designer to join our team in Montreal, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping the platform that drives the global on-the-ground operations of our micromobility business. As a member of the Operations Technology team, you'll be responsible for designing features that enhance the reliability and efficiency of our transportation systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to create a seamless experience for our operators and riders. WHAT YOU'LL DO As an Operations Technology Product Designer, you'll be involved in every stage of product development, from conceptualization to launch. Your responsibilities will include: - Problem-solving and thinking creatively to develop innovative solutions - Collaborating with product and engineering teams to define the future of the team and drive product development - Influencing the shape of the product through research and data-driven design, executing high-quality design work using wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and interactive prototypes - Advocating for design by presenting cross-functionally and articulating design rationale - Inspiring the team with new ideas and collaborating closely with team members to create a unified, end-to-end experience WHAT YOU'LL NEED To succeed in this role, you'll need: - At least 6 years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI, or a related field, with a focus on web and mobile design - Experience working with lean teams and designing innovative products for desktop and mobile - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative team - Expertise in design tools such as Figma and prototyping tools - Experience with user research methods and analysis - Strong design craft skills and a passion for creating elegantly simple solutions to complex problems WHY REMOTE As a remote team member, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
